We went to Watford purely for a family visit as this is where we used to live. It was great to go back and revisit some of our old favourite places and acted as a good base for us to travel out to other surrounding locations. I would however not recommend for a holiday destination as the main town centre has very few shops etc or much to see.
Great location for train line into London etc.

Watford is a great location from which you can access London. There are lots of different restaurants, shops and activities easily accessed in the centre of town. We found Watford was a great base to stay as it provided superb access to the Warner Bros Studios and the Harry Potter tour.

I visited Watford for work.
I visited Watford for work. The apartment was centrally located and it was easy to walk everywhere. Good mix of coffee, food and bar options within a couple of minutes walk, some chains and some independent. Easy parking.
So spacious. Everything we needed, a home from home setting. Perfect for my young kids. The location - well it couldn’t have been any better. I did my research beforehand but I didn’t think the location would have been as amazing as it was. Minutes from train stations for central London, aswell as having a massive shopping centre at the end of the road for shopping, eating out and entertainment for the kids. We came down for Harry Potter studios, and the bus picks you up from Watford Junction station around the corner - fab!!
Really good value for money don't be put off by the price. 2 minutes walk from Watford Junction Station(this is the last stop you can use the underground London ticket for so you don't need to buy additional train tickets). Breckfast was good bacon and sausage cobs if you ask staff to fetch them and also continental breakfast. Location is really good plenty of shops and reasurants around. Hotel meals and drinks reasonably priced. All round good hotel and clean
This apartment is perfectly located. We had tickets for WB Harry Potter studio tour, the apartment is perfect for that. We had a day in London before yhe tour, apartment 2 Mins from Watford Junction, really cheap to get into Euston. We will stay here again for weekends in London because the price is amazing compared to London properties and so much more included in an apartment. Hitesh is an excellent owner, loved chatting with him
Peter is an amazing owner, tells you what you need to know to move with the public service. it’s not a 5 stars hotel, but it’s comfy , warm and tidy. very good breakfast, you have to manage by yourself, but there are lots of choices. close enough to the underground either you can catch a Uber to watford junction for 6$ or by walk within 20 min. The room was big enough , with all the necessary in. very good stay.
the pictures don’t do the apartment justice! the space the facilities and the location ( near Watford junction ) and near the atria shopping centre with lots of places to dine and 2 too shisha lounges.
we went on a warm weekend , fan in every room and the lounge and good ventilation in each room ( window close to your bed with little outside noise)
Amazon fire stick available for Netflix , prime etc
This is a great hotel if you’re looking for a night out in Watford or the surrounding area as it’s cheap and comfortable and the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. Gabriella the barmaid was beyond helpful the entire time and really made me feel welcome. The manager, whose name I can’t recall unfortunately, was also incredibly helpful and friendly.
The Hotel in general was nice. The staff were pleasant and welcoming. The food in the restaurant was delicious and had a nice and diverse selection. The restaurant manager was always around, kind and helpful.. the restaurant staff and housekeeping need more training and grooming and to be more focused.
Near the Warner Bros Studio Tour (only 15 mins drive), near to Tube station (10 mins walk to Watford), and self contained unit with private kitchenette and private bathroom.
Clean, staff were great, nice and quiet.
We weren't disturbed or bothered by anyone.
Parking free onsite is a FANTASTIC bonus.
Very comfortable with a little kitchen and bathroom. Location is about 10 mins drive to Harry Potter Tours - would recommend especially the price compared to some hotels in the same area. Watford Junction is also a 5 min walk away for connections for London.
Though dated, I found it to be clean.
Bar & Cleaning Staff are all helpful and friendly.
The pub offers convenience as there is a kitchen with descent prices.
Watford station is under a 10 minute walk.
The en-suite shower was super handy!
Location is smack on the centre of Watford and it’s 15 mins away from Watford Junction Train Station. Everything is supplied by the owner. Food wise, if you do not fancy cooking plenty of options outside. Shopping center is 2 mins away.
Very nice appartment, excellent location, few minutes walking from watford Junction, the mall, Tesco. Host is very caring always available...
We stayed with two kids, and it was perfect. Perfect neighborhood very nice and quiet.
Lovely hotel located near to Watford shopping and also Watford Junction train station for easy trip to London or Harry Potter studio tour. Easy check in and check out and lovely hotel room. Was clean, quiet and a brilliant stay
Reception was great and they sorted out a booking mistake very quickly.
Hotel lovely and clean.
Restaurant food in the evening was nice, but not exceptional for the price.
All staff were very polite and welcoming.
Large room with a comfortable bed and even a lounge. A small desk made checking emails easy and the hotel is quite close to High Street which made walking to find dinner easy. Breakfast was convenient.
I'm pleased to have found this hotel. It is ideal for visiting London. So close to Watford Junction and convenient to drive to and park. Staff are always welcoming and the atmosphere is pleasant.
great value for money staff exceptional , noting was to much, very kind very helpful parking onsite a bonus a hidden little gem easy waling to town centre and Watford junction
If you are going Harry Potter World then this is a good hotel to stay in, literally less than a 10-minute drive from the studio.
